PROJECT STEERING COMMITTEE - TERMS OF REFERENCE         

Overview:

Represent the interests of all stakeholders to the project and provide
direction to the project team.

Regularly review the business case and recommend corrective action for any changes in the business case.

Provide policy guidance to the project team and resolve any issues
that cannot be resolved by the project team.

Provide assurance and communications on overall project                 
performance through the monitoring of significant risks and progress
against targets for quality, timescales and costs.

 PROJECT WORKING COMMITTEE - TERMS OF REFERENCE

Overview:

Ensure that the project produces the specified deliverables to the specified standards of quality and performance within the specified constraints.

Assist the Project Manager in managing the day-to-day aspects of the project by providing functional and business input to the project.

Provide guidance in resource planning and ensure that required
resources are made available to the project.

Assist the Project Manager by providing expert advice and guidance in all Technical and User aspects of the project.

Monitor progress against targets for cost and time and ensure that risks, issues and scope changes are properly managed.

The use of project reports is high at this stage.

We also support communication of the above committees through use of technology tools like Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Central and Microsoft Sharepoint , Project Portfolio Manager and a lot of others.
